In our world today there is much opportunity for fear and worry. However, Jesus says, “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) The psalmist said, “When I said, ‘My foot is slipping’, your love, O Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.  (Psalm 94:18,19). Are you weary? Is your foot slipping? Emmanuel is a church that is growing a ministry of prayer. Unlike the norm we desire that prayer and God’s guidance and counsel comfort and inform all we do. He is our Life, and prayer is our breath.
