Lamp Lighters

Matthew 5:14-16 You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Whether we are young or old, rich or poor, new or longtime Christians, all of us who have received God’s gift of salvation are asked by our Lord to put our faith into action. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are commissioned to reach out to those who are still lost. Each of us is called to this ministry. All of us can do something. Please join with us as the Holy Spirit leads and guides you.

Lamp Lighters is a new EBC outreach ministry whose mission is to reach out specifically to those within the local community to help spread the gospel of Christ through the power of prayer and acts of Christian love. We will meet on the fourth Friday of each month from 7 to 8 pm in the Cathedral Room. Our outreach will include: prayers, cards, calls, visits, meals, counsel, fellowship, and other acts of Christian love.
