As Christians we create an automatic dividing line by our belief in the truth of the Bible. We have been and will be persecuted for this belief. Therefore we need to be absolutely convinced of its accuracy and truthfulness. The One who wrote its words in a message for us does not compromise.

The Bible is a book of details. Every detail is there for a reason. Initially we may not understand much as we read and study. However, as time is spent reading His Word we begin to see the details fit. The Bible contains historical, archeological, scientific, and time related details that have never been proven incorrect. Many are those who seek to discredit the details only to lose in the end. Once familiarity is gained with the early culture, geography and language, the details become clarified.

The Bible, we are told, is not a science book and that its math is even incorrect in places. Consider this, that if God is Who He says He is, then He is Creator, the Master Scientist, Master Physicist, and Master Mathematician among other attributes. He is also Ultimate Truth. Therefore, what He has written is true and if we don't understand it, then the problem rests not with God. We will explore some passages in the future to illustrate some mistakes that finite minds make when trying to prove God false.

There are two world views. Ours is based on Scripture. The other is based on one that is designed to avoid personal responsibility to a Creator who loves them. If one who holds the other view is genuine in seeking surety and therefore being honest in the inquiry, it is then entirely quite possible to demonstrate the accuracy and truthfulness of the Word, the One who wrote it, and His view of Creation, the fall of man, the worldwide flood, the Incarnate One, and His coming again.

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. Colossians 2:8
