The precise order of prophecy - One of the greatest signs that will welcome the era of the return of Jesus is the re-establishment of the land of Israel to be a permanent home for God’s chosen people. After the Jews were removed from their homeland a second time by the Romans, they were scattered to the far reaches of the planet. Keep in mind that they were removed the first time by the Babylonians who acted in carrying out a very specific prophecy. The second return of His people has been an amazing progression of many Old Testament prophecies. Not only was the physical return predicted, but also the timing, the new flag, and the return of the pure Hebrew language. Isaiah covers many details, but so does Zephaniah, Zechariah, and others.

I was reading Phyllis Robinson’s book, “Bible Predictions That Make Today’s Headlines’ recently. Although I was acquainted with a particular verse from Isaiah, she pointed out just how exacting the verse is:

“Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, “give them up” and to the south, “Do not hold them back”. Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 43:5 .

I had always read the above verse as a whole, a sum of its parts, but Mrs. Robinson breaks it into detail which once again demonstrates how God orchestrates His plan. She points out that recent history reveals that the first group to emigrate came from the east of Israel. Then, as momentum built, the lands west of Israel released their Jews. Russia in the north resisted until the Berlin Wall fell, and finally the Ethiopians (south) released their Jews. Note this is the exact pattern that God laid out way back in Isaiah.
