What would you do if I told you that the Bible was just not true, that it was just a collection of writings by men seeking a god? Unfortunately today there are many pulpits that proclaim that kind of message. Why would a large number of theologians today have little faith that God actually wrote His Word? It is because they were raised in a generation that has been indoctrinated by evolutionary and humanistic thinking. The alternatives have been denied to them during their education. They are just totally unaware of the infallibility of Scripture. The very things they should be proclaiming, they appear to be void of real knowledge.

Because Emmanuel teaches the validity of Scripture perhaps you have not encountered errant teaching from the pulpit. Did you realize that each year in February many churches ‘celebrate’ what is known as Evolution Sunday where it is Charles Darwin who is revered? It all starts with the belief that billions of years have been required to come up with what is known as life on Planet Earth. God’s report in the first chapter of Genesis is discarded as a myth. Why? It is because Man has said science is my god and I will believe in it. The problem with that is that if you examine history, science has never settled on an explanation, but rather always has a changing paradigm. In fact, the latest view of man is to admit that billions of years are not enough and therefore life on Earth has been seeded by more advanced aliens.

So where did Man fall off the wagon? It is because he believed that he knows more and better than God and is capable of doing his own thing. If this wasn’t serious it would be laughable to watch the scramble for alternate ‘truth’. This scenario is made clear in a warning to us from 2Peter. Read it again and see if you don’t recognize what is going on today. The Master of Deceit, Satan, still is whispering in the ears of men, “Did God really say that?”

Fortunately, I have discovered God’s Word to be wholly true, and that is why I write. While I certainly don’t claim to know everything, I have learned that where ever Man decides to challenge God on the validity of His written Word, Scripture is always the victor. So, have no fear, it is as He says it is! You can depend on it until He comes.
